Replanting the Birthing Tree

Replanting the Birthing Tree was created to show only some of the universal ways in which Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural practices support the social and emotional wellbeing of children in the early years of life.

Co-created with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledge holders, through a process and approach of inclusive content development, preferencing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledges and ways of knowing, being and doing to work towards pedagogical and epistemological equality.

While Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples from many communities were consulted in the making of this animation, it does not intend to depict the practices of any pacific language group or Nation.
